ADVERTISEMENTS
I am pretty sure we can all agree that there are just those advertisement that you look at and ask yourself " what does this ad have to do with the product being advertised ?" Advertisement for the alcoholic beverage  Savanna are on the other hand very Witty and for one to really understand it you will have to think and be very open-minded .for an advert like that to speak to you. The main aim of an advertisement is to persuade you  and keep you glued to the screen for the course of its running, it should carry the following attributes
  • must entertain the viewers/target audience
  • must be visually attractive
  • it should be interesting
  • and the message should not contradict the product and what it stands for.
If we look at the following advertisements they surely evoke a response from the viewer and they instill an anticipation of "when will it be on again"

The KFC advertisement that goes through different generations.

The Savanna (Jack Russel ad)

These two advertisements are for me some of the best advertisements on television right now.
I had a conversation with some of my friends and we all agreed that sex sells in all the media platforms TV, radio and so on, no matter how much we would like to dispute that fact it is so true. The sprite zero advertisement with the girl walking out of the house somewhat irritated and half naked for instance is loved or let me speak for myself here it

All in all for brands to be out there in the public eye and for them to be known, an advertisement has to be catchy, Witty and must entertain , the advertising angle of it should be smart enough that we don't identify the selling angle of it every time we see it ,but it should sell its self to us without the use of many word just pure good advertising . so the next time you view an advert check for the following must haves and rate that advert.
here are some more good advertisements : the Toyota (with the dog advert) also very intelligent and interesting, the Savlon , the MTN adverts are always good the OROS advert.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ADS?...
